An important May 30, 2025 announcement from Bishop’s office and Father Pat
The Most Reverend Michael T. Martin, OFM Conv., Bishop of Charlotte, announces today that Reverend J. Patrick Cahill, who has served as Pastor, is being transferred from St. Eugene Church to a new assignment of Pastor at St. Matthew Church. This transfer becomes effective on July 8, 2025. We are grateful to Reverend J. Patrick Cahill for his dedicated ministry to our parish.
The Bishop also announces today that Reverend Sabastian Umouyo, M.S.P., who has served as Pastor, is being transferred from Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Lexington to a new assignment of Pastor at St. Eugene Church. This transfer becomes effective on July 8, 2025. We look forward to welcoming him to our parish community.
